La Dolce Luna’s is a small kennel located in south Sweden. The persons behind is me, Mathilde, and my mom Elise von Holten.
The first Leonberger came into our life 2004 and her name was Mathoaka’s Vårvind.
Her nickname was Luna and that is the reason behind the kennel name La Dolce Luna’s.
She is the foundation bitch and lives on in the kennels bloodline.
Ever since the day Luna walked tru the doors at Krokatorpet we haven’t spent a day without at least one Leonberger in the house.
Our dogs are members of our family. They live inside together with us and are a big part of our family and life. It doesn’t matter if they aren’t in breeding or a star in the ring.
All the dogs are first family members – breeding dog or show dog.
We breed in a small scale, so when the time is right and when want to keep a puppy ourselves we start to plan.
Our goal is to breed sound and healthy Leonbergers, who are just as beautiful on the inside as on the outside.
62 puppies in 8 litters has been born at the kennel during 2007-2023.
The majority of the dogs has never been to a show, but those who has brought us 80 champion titles, 25 winner titles and 3 out of 3 Junior World Winners.
Among with other great results thru the years as well as being top Leonberger breeder for the 7th year in row.
