The heart behind the kennel.
We are Elise and Mathilde von Holten – a mother and daughter duo with a shared passion for the Leonberger.
Our journey began in 2004, when our very first Leonberger Mathoaka’s Vårvind ”Luna”, entered our lives.
She didn’t just change our daily routines – she changed our hearts, and ultimately inspired the dream of a kennel built on love, connection, and deep respect for the breed.
We live on the countryside of Smålandsstenar, Sweden, where our dogs are a part of the family.
Here they are given space to be who they are, cherished companions with strong personalities and gentle souls
Together, we blend our strengths and complement each other, united by one goal and that is to raise healthy, balanced and true-to-type Leonbergers who go on to become beloved members of other families.
Our breeding is small scale but filled with heart. Every puppy is raised in a home environment, surrounded by love, care, and attention.
For us, the most important thing is not just producing beautiful dogs – it’s helping them start a life full of love and trust.

62 puppies in 8 litters has been born at the kennel during 2007-2023.
The majority of the dogs has never been to a show, but those who has brought us 80 champion titles, 25 winner titles and 3 out of 3 Junior World Winners.
Among with other great results thru the years as well as being top Leonberger breeder for the 7th year in row.
